Overview
The Ministry of Tourism (MoT), Government of India, participated at ITB Berlin 2025, held from 4th to 6th March 2025 at Messe Berlin — the world’s leading travel trade show and a global meeting point for the tourism industry.
Expression 360 was entrusted with the responsibility of conceptualizing, designing, and executing the Incredible India Pavilion, which served as a vibrant platform to showcase India’s diverse tourism offerings.
The Pavilion was inaugurated by the Ambassador of India to the Federal Republic of Germany, H.E. Ajit Gupte, in the presence of Mr. Kandula Durgesh, Minister of Tourism, Andhra Pradesh.
Anchored around the theme of sustainable tourism, the Pavilion presented India not just as a destination, but as a holistic travel experience. From cultural heritage and traditions to niche tourism avenues such as spiritual & wellness, wedding, adventure, eco-tourism, and gourmet, the Pavilion offered the world a glimpse of India’s kaleidoscope.
Co-exhibitors at the Pavilion included state tourism boards (Andhra Pradesh & Chandigarh), IRCTC, travel agents, and tourism service providers.
The Pavilion attracted massive engagement, with footfalls of over 1,00,000 visitors per day, alongside 10,000 delegations and numerous ambassador-level meetings and conferences.
Our Approach
Expression 360 approached ITB Berlin 2025 as an opportunity to reimagine India’s tourism showcase with design and storytelling rooted in three key pillars:
Sustainability First – The Pavilion design reflected eco-friendly sensibilities and emphasized India’s commitment to sustainable tourism practices.
Cultural Kaleidoscope – Showcasing India’s rich traditions, languages, and tourism diversity under a unified national identity.
Engagement & Networking – Creating spaces that facilitated interactions between stakeholders, diplomats, and global industry leaders.
The India Pavilion was conceptualized as an immersive cultural journey, blending traditional aesthetics with modern experiential zones, including:
Thematic Installations on wellness, adventure, eco-tourism, weddings, and gourmet travel.
Interactive Storytelling Spaces to highlight the “Incredible India” brand.
Networking Areas for business meetings, diplomatic conferences, and trade discussions.
Expression 360 ensured the Pavilion was not just a static exhibition, but a dynamic hub for cultural exchange, collaboration, and global tourism partnerships.
